IYouth Empowerment: The CNYC is committed to empowering and promoting the holistic development of young people in Cameroon. They believe in providing opportunities, resources, and support to enable youth to reach their full potential.!

It will take place on DAY, MONTH, YEAR at VENUE in CITY.

Leadership: The CNYC promotes and encourages youth leadership at all levels. They recognize the importance of nurturing the leadership skills and qualities of young people, fostering their active participation in decision-making processes and community development.

Collaboration: The CNYC believes in the power of collaboration and partnerships. They actively seek to engage with government entities, educational institutions, private organizations, and other stakeholders to work together towards common goals and address the needs and aspirations of young people. Equality and Inclusivity: The CNYC advocates for equality and inclusivity, ensuring that all young people, regardless of their gender, background, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status, have equal opportunities and access to resources, education, and development programs. Integrity and Transparency: The CNYC operates with integrity and transparency in all its activities. They adhere to ethical standards, accountability, and good governance practices, ensuring that their actions are guided by honesty, fairness, and the best interests of young people. Youth Participation: The CNYC believes in the active participation and involvement of young people in decision-making processes and national development. They provide platforms and opportunities for youth to voice their opinions, contribute their ideas, and actively participate in shaping policies and programs that affect them. Respect and Non-Discrimination: The CNYC promotes respect for diversity and non-discrimination. They value and respect the rights and dignity of every young person, irrespective of their differences, and strive to create a safe and inclusive environment for all.!

Programs are usualy free of charge and if you cannot afford coming to CITY but are very motivated to learn and then share your knowledge with others, we may have some funds to help you out with your travel costs and accommodation. As a Program attendee you will:

• attend a one-day Youth workshop during which you will create your first website
• Learning and Skill Development: Youth events often offer workshops, seminars, and training sessions that provide opportunities for young people to learn new skills and acquire knowledge in various fields. These events can help them develop their talents, enhance their abilities, and gain valuable insights that can contribute to their personal and professional growth.
• Networking and Building Connections: Youth events bring together young individuals from diverse backgrounds, creating an ideal platform for networking and building connections. Attending these events allows young people to interact with like-minded individuals, professionals, mentors, and potential collaborators. Building a strong network can open doors to new opportunities, collaborations, and support systems.
• Exposure and Awareness: Youth events expose participants to new ideas, trends, and perspectives. They provide a platform for young individuals to explore different fields, industries, and career paths. Attending these events can broaden their horizons, raise awareness about various issues, and inspire them to pursue new interests or passions.
• Personal Development: Youth events often include sessions on personal development topics such as leadership, self-confidence, communication, and goal setting. Do I need to know anything about the programs organized for the Cameroon National Youth Council?

No! Events are for everyone. You don’t need to know anything about it. However, if you have a little bit of technical knowledge you are welcome!

I am not living in Cameroon, can I attend?

Of course! Programs will be in bilingual, so if you have no troubles with speaking and understanding English or French - you should apply.

Should I bring my own laptop?

Yes. We have no hardware, so we expect you to bring your computer with you. It is also important for us that you will take home everything you’ll write and create during workshops.
