On September 24, 2024, the Secretary General of the Cameroon National Youth Council (CNYC) CEDRIC MESSAMBE, on behalf of the National President, received Mr. Sunday Geoffrey, Executive Director of Support Humanity Cameroon, as part of the ongoing national youth consultations for the revision of the National Youth Policy. The discussions centered on youth involvement in the fight against climate change. Mr. Geoffrey proposed the establishment of a Youth Climate Council, aimed at uniting the efforts of the youth in environmental preservation, nature protection, and combating climate change.
The consultations are ongoing, and the doors of the CNJC remain open to all youth contributions!

Le 24 septembre 2024, le Secrétaire Général du Conseil National de la Jeunesse du Cameroun (CNJC) CEDRIC MESSAMBE, au nom de la Présidente Nationale, a reçu M. Sunday Geoffrey, Directeur Exécutif de Support Humanity Cameroon, dans le cadre des consultations nationales des jeunes pour la révision de la Politique Nationale de la Jeunesse. Les échanges ont porté sur l'implication des jeunes dans la lutte contre les changements climatiques. M. Geoffrey a proposé la création d'un Conseil Climatique des Jeunes visant à fédérer les efforts de la jeunesse pour la préservation de l'environnement, la protection de la nature et la lutte contre les changements climatiques.
Les consultations se poursuivent, et les bureaux du CNJC restent ouverts à toutes les contributions des jeunes !
