Call to the Youth of Wouri to Uphold Peace and National Unity

The President of the Divisional Executive Bureau of the Cameroon National Youth Council (CNYC) for Wouriinvites all young people — members of various political parties, civil society, leaders and members of youth associations and movements affiliated with the CNYC, students from schools, universities and training centers, young economic operators and entrepreneurs in the informal sector, as well as motorcycle taxi riders from downtown Douala and surrounding areas — to adopt a responsible, civic, and patriotic attitude during the ongoing post-electoral period.

He therefore urges his fellow young people to choose the path of peace, to resist the voices of division, and to reject hatred, disorder, and violence.

The city of Douala is the nerve center of socio-economic growth for young people and serves as the hub of enterprises, projects, and diverse initiatives driven by a cosmopolitan and dynamic youth, recognized and appreciated for its vitality.

It is therefore our collective responsibility to contribute to the preservation of this precious shared heritage.

Youth of Wouri Division, let us show self-restraint and responsibility to maintain cohesion and harmony as our contribution to the preservation of Cameroon, our common good in PEACE.
