Dans l’optique de promouvoir l’inclusion sociale et de contribuer à l’émulation des jeunes de l’éducation non formelle, professionnelle et des mouvements associatifs, la tenue de la 1ere édition des Jeux Nationaux du Sport Extrascolaire - Jenasesco , deux figures sportives de renom sont choisis pour davantage galvaniser la jeunesse qui viendra de toutes les régions du Pays. Pour Francis N'Gannou, champion du Monde de MMA et Françoise Mbango, double médaillée des jeux olympiques, il sera question d’inculquer aux jeunes compétiteurs et athlètes un ensemble de valeurs civiques et d’encouragement le tout couronnée par le fighting spirit des lions indomptables comme l’a indiqué le Ministre Mounouna Foutsou.
Dans son mot de circonstance, le Ministre de la Jeunesse et de l’Education Civique a tenu à saluer leur participation à cette 1ere édition de JENASESCO. Par ailleurs, le membre du gouvernement à témoigner sa gratitude à l’endroit de ces deux icones du sport, pour avoir accepté d’accompagner les jeunes à cette première édition des Jeux qui se déroulent dans un contexte particulier.
Une participation bien accueillie par ces deux égéries. Ainsi pour Francis Ngannou, accompagner la jeunesse qui comme lui a bravé des difficultés est une occasion pour lui d’apporter sa contribution pour donner de l’espoir à ces nombreux jeunes. C’est aussi le cas pour Françoise Mbango pour qui cette marque d’attention est une reconnaissance du gouvernement à l’endroit des anciennes gloires.

Jenasesco 2023, the ceremonies are ongoing. They are being held through two audiences granted by the Minister of Youth and Civic Education, where Francis Ngannou and Françoise Mbango received their roles as godfather and ambassador of the games, which are taking place from December 17 to December 22, 2023. With the aim of promoting social inclusion and contributing to the emulation of young people from non-formal education, professional training, and associative movements, the 1st edition of the National Extracurricular Sports Games - Jenasesco features two renowned sports figures to further galvanize the youth coming from all regions of the country. For Francis N'Gannou, MMA World Champion, and Françoise Mbango, double Olympic medalist, the goal is to instill a set of civic values and encouragement in the young competitors and athletes, all crowned by the fighting spirit of the indomitable lions, as indicated by Minister Mounouna Foutsou.
In his speech, the Minister of Youth and Civic Education praised their participation in this 1st edition of JENASESCO. Moreover, the government member expressed his gratitude to these two sports icons for agreeing to accompany the youth in this first edition of the Games, which are taking place in a special context.
The participation of these two figures has been well received. For Francis Ngannou, accompanying youth who, like him, have overcome difficulties is an opportunity for him to contribute and give hope to many young people. The same is true for Françoise Mbango, who sees this attention as a recognition by the government of former sports legends.
