Official Launch of Cameroon’s National Action Plan on Youth, Peace and Security (2025–2030)

The Government of Cameroon, in collaboration with the United Nations system, national partners, and the Cameroon National Youth Council (CNYC), has officially launched the National Action Plan on Youth, Peace and Security (2025–2030). This initiative reflects Cameroon’s strong commitment to empowering young people as key actors in promoting peace, national unity, and sustainable development.

Built for the youth and by the youth, the Plan was developed through wide consultations with young people across the country, under the coordination of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education (MINJEC). It provides a framework for strengthening youth participation in peacebuilding and decision-making at all levels. The official release of the final version marks a historic milestone in recognizing young Cameroonians as true architects of peace and social cohesion.
