The spirit of community service came alive this Sunday, November 16th, 2025, in Mambanda, along Rue Mami Jacka in Block 16, where the Association of Dynamic Youth of Mambanda carried out a Human Investment activity. As is now common across the national territory, the Cameroon National Youth Council (CNYC) – Douala 4, led by their Communal President, Haddija Idrissou, stood by their side, continuing to inspire young people to take action and uplift their neighbourhoods.
Motivated youth dedicated their energy to cleaning public spaces, improving sanitation, and reinforcing civic responsibility. Their effort reflects the same energy witnessed during our CNYC Youth Camping programs, where young leaders pledged to contribute more actively to community development.
The presence of the Chief of Block 16 and members of his office added value to the initiative as they encouraged and congratulated the youth for their dedication. Their support shows that when local leaders and young people work hand in hand, communities grow stronger and more resilient.
This activity also echoes a major resolution of the 2025 Cameroonian Youth Dialogue Platform, where youth committed to strengthening community participation and promoting solidarity across the country. What happened in Mambanda is a living expression of that national commitment.
The National President, Madame Fadimatou Iyawa Ousmanou, encourages the youth to continue multiplying such initiatives, reminding them that every action—no matter how small—helps build a more united and responsible Cameroon.
The CNYC congratulates all participants and reaffirms its commitment to supporting youth-led community actions throughout the national territory. Each gesture of service brings us closer to a cleaner and stronger nation.
