Muluh Godson: A Beacon of Hope from Cameroon to the World
At 26, Muluh Godson is living proof that you don’t need much to make a global impact — just a dream, grit, and the will to act.
Raised in a community with limited access to electricity or internet, he turned obstacles into opportunities. As a teacher, he built a tech lab out of nothing but his personal laptop and solar power. As a developer, he taught himself to build an AI-powered travel app called TRIPPY — and went on to win first prize at the 2024 Google Gemini AI Awards, beating out over 3,500 entries from around the globe.
Today, he’s not just building apps. He’s building:
-
Tools to connect rural students to the internet-free version of the world.
-
A system that could help launch Cameroon into space.
His message to young people?
“It’s not where you start. It’s what you do with what you have. Even if you’re working alone — your voice, your vision, and your actions can shake the world.”
So dream boldly. Start small. And never stop believing.
You could be the next Muluh Godson — or better yet, the first you.
