Le mercredi 9 octobre 2024, les consultations élargies des jeunes se sont déroulées avec succès au Lycée Mixte d’Awae. L’événement était présidé par Mme Nkou Nadine Epse Ateba Athanase, Présidente du Bureau Communal du Conseil National de la Jeunesse du Cameroun (CNJC) à Awae, avec le soutien du Maire Jeune d’Awae, M. Mbida Mbida Pierre Anicet. La session a rassemblé des jeunes provenant de diverses communautés telles qu’Avamanga, Atemanga, Yemessomo et Minkom.
L’objectif principal de la consultation était de recueillir les contributions des jeunes sur des thèmes importants tels que la faim et la pauvreté, l’éducation et la formation, l’accès au marché du travail et l’orientation professionnelle. Pendant l’événement, les jeunes, qu’ils soient scolarisés ou non, ont reçu des fiches et des guides pour exprimer leurs avis et suggestions. Ces fiches ont été remplies après des explications détaillées sur les différentes thématiques.
La session s’est terminée par une collation offerte à tous les participants, et les résultats de la consultation ont été partagés avec les autorités locales.

On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, expanded youth consultations were held successfully at the Awae Mixed High School. The event was chaired by Mrs. Nkou Nadine Epse Ateba Athanase, President of the Sub Divisional Bureau of the Cameroon National Youth Council (CNYC) in Awae, with support from the Youth Mayor of Awae, Mr. Mbida Mbida Pierre Anicet. The session gathered young people from different communities such as Avamanga, Atemanga, Yemessomo, and Minkom.
The primary objective of the consultation was to gather input from youths on important themes like hunger and poverty, education and training, access to the labor market, and career guidance. During the event, youth participants—both in and out of school—were provided with forms and guides to express their views and suggestions. These forms were filled after detailed explanations were given on the various thematic areas.
The session ended with a refreshment break offered to all attendees, and the results of the consultation were shared with local authorities.
